Brushed (180 grit) grade 304 stainless tubing with .050 wall are available in 20-ft stock lengths.  Cut-sizes are also available, please call to inquire.

Tubing up to 95" can be shipped via UPS.  Tubing over 95" require additional handling and may have to be shipped via a common carrier.  Freight can be quoted upon request. Please call to inquire.

One of the most frequent questions we get from customers is “What’s the difference between pipe and tube”? Although pipes and tubes may look similar, they are in fact quite different in nomenclature and sizing. Remember that pipes and tubes are rarely interchangeable.

Pipes are only provided with an inside (nominal) diameter and a “schedule” (which means wall thickness). There’s an easy way to remember this: since pipe is used to transfer fluids or gas, the size of the opening through which the fluids or gas can pass through is probably more important to you than the outer dimensions of the pipe. Tube measurements, on the other hand, are provided as an outside diameter and set ranges of wall thickness.

Only pipes are pressure rated and intended to be used for the transference of fluids or gas. Tubes, on the other hand, are used in structural applications. Strength-wise, tube is stronger than pipe.

Fittings with inserts are made to fit with .050" wall tubing. They do not fit with pipes. When you purchase flush fittings without tubing, please measure your tubing for OUTSIDE diameter and wall thickness to ensure material will fit together.

Excellent quality and cut to desired length

I needed gold tubing for a longer towel bar as the manufacturer did not sell the 30” length. I used the ends from a shorter towel bar. The tubing matched perfectly (polished brass) and custom cut to the desired length. The tubing is stronger than the tubing that came with the towel bar, which is a plus. Excellent service and received quickly.
