When will I receive my items?
In-stock items: Once shipped, allow 3-7 business days for delivery.
All other items: Once shipped, please allow 3-7 business days for delivery of non-freight items or 7-10 business days for delivery of items that ship via freight.
We will send you a separate shipping confirmation email and tracking number, if available, when each item ships.
Freight Truck Shipping
Products or orders too large or heavy to ship via FedEx will be delivered to you via freight truck delivery and may be subject to an additional liftgate service fee.
Freight orders usually take 7-10 business days for delivery; some items will take longer, based on your location.
You will be contacted when your freight item arrives at your local freight terminal (via the phone number you've already provided during checkout) to schedule a drop off date and time.
How is shipping cost calculated?
Shipping charges depend entirely on what you're ordering, where you need that order to go and how quickly you want it to get there.
Shipping costs are based on the zip code you entered, product weight and size.

We do not accept “time is of the essence” order requirements with respect to fabrication or order delivery. Although most online orders ship the same or next business day, product stock levels vary and may require additional time for order fulfillment, usually within 7 business days. We make every effort to ship all online orders in no more than 10 working days. If an online order requires more than 10 working days to ship, customer will be notified and given the option to cancel with a full-refund. Time-to-ship as described above does not apply to phone orders which will be based upon the specifics of each order placed and the time-frame agreed upon between TDIBRASS.COM and customer. All shipments are FOB our factory.
Returns are not accepted on custom orders and customer is responsible for entire payment once fabrication begins. Pricing on custom orders is based on lot order and may include charges that reflect set up, material preparation, cutting, rimming, rolling, bending, welding, grinding, polishing, plating and crating. Pricing does not include installation. Material may require on-site trimming during installation unless otherwise noted.
All returns must include a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). You can request a RMA# by calling 1-800-835-8338. Please be specific and include your name, address, email address, phone number and order number when requesting a RMA#.
No returns will be accepted unless pre-authorized and received within 30 days from the original invoice date. Returned merchandise must be in new condition and include all original packaging and mounting hardware, such as screws, if applicable.
Damaged items or items that have been altered in any fashion cannot be returned for refund, credit or exchange. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee and all returned merchandise is subject to visual inspection by Trade Diversified Inc. before credit will be issued.
Special ordered items: There will be no refunds for cut tubing, special ordered items, custom-fabricated items or items with custom, specialty, plated or coated finishes.
Claims for shortage, discrepancy, defective material must be made within seven (7) days of receipt of material. Replacements will be shipped via ground service, freight prepaid. Expedite shipping can be arranged and will be customer's responsibility. Claims made after seven (7) days will not be accepted.
One of the most frequent questions we get from customers is “What’s the difference between pipe and tube”?
Although pipes and tubes may look similar, they are in fact quite different in nomenclature and sizing. Remember that pipes and tubes are rarely interchangeable.
Pipes are only provided with an inside (nominal) diameter and a “schedule” (which means wall thickness). There’s an easy way to remember this: since pipe is used to transfer fluids or gas, the size of the opening through which the fluids or gas can pass through is probably more important to you than the outer dimensions of the pipe.
Tube measurements, on the other hand, are provided as an outside diameter and set ranges of wall thickness.
Only pipes are pressure rated and intended to be used for the transference of fluids or gas. Tubes, on the other hand, are used in structural applications. Strength-wise, tube is stronger than pipe.
Both brass and stainless steel tubing are .050" or 18 gauge. All of our components are made to fit with tubing of this thickness. Tubing with thicker walls are available upon request. .065 wall (16 gauge) material are typically used for welding and custom-bending.
Brass material are alloy 260/272, meaning they contain about 60% copper, 39% zinc and 1% lead. Stainless material are #304. It is the most widely used austenitic stainless steel, and it's also known as stainless steel because of its composition – it includes 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel. Type 304 stainless steel has good forming and welding properties, as well as strong corrosion resistance and strength.
For closet rods, hand rails and foot rails where tubing will be constantly touched/scratched by hangers, hands or shoes, we recommend to leave them in polished or brushed (without coating) finish, and clean regularly with metal polish. For partition posts, sneeze guards and guard rails, clear powder coat will protect brass from tarnishing (but not sever scratching). Powder coated material can be cleaned with damp clothes or non-abrasive cleaning agents.
